Pre-conference Activities

We’re proud to offer a few great options for pre-conference activities, sponsored and organized by New Century Software. Take a look at the choices below and make note of which one you’d like to participate in. When you complete your conference registration, you’ll need to be ready to select one of these activities. If you’re traveling with family, they are welcome to join in the fun as well.

MyHandleBar Bike Brewery Tour

Explore beautiful Old Town Fort Collins by combining the town’s two favorite things: bikes and beers! Walk a few blocks from the hotel to get on a 16-person Bar Top Bicycle (complete with designated driver) that was built and shipped from the city of Stroe in the Netherlands. Participants will choose up to three stops from a selection of popular, local bars and breweries for a true taste of FoCo!

Fort Collins Ghost Tour

Feeling a little spooky? Get to know the ghoulish side of Fort Collins with a guided, personal tour underneath Old Town Square. Learn about the town’s storied past and explore some haunted locations in this bone-chilling historic experience. After the tour, participants will stop by a local pub for a pint before returning to the hotel.

Pinot’s Pallete Paint & Sip Studio

Get your craft on! The group will select a painting and the instructor will provide step-by-step instructions for creating your own masterpiece! This low-impact activity option is perfect for those looking to relax, socialize and sip on a beverage while getting creative. (Note: if you don’t have room in your suitcase, we can package and ship your painting home for you!)

Hike on Horsetooth Mountain

This activity starts with a scenic 30-minute drive to Horsetooth Mountain Park on the edge of town. Once the group gathers at the trailhead, they will decide on which trail to take, based on interest and skill level. The hike will be 1–2 hours long and snacks and drinks are included. Horsetooth Rock Trail is ranked moderate and Horsetooth Falls trails is ranked easy. The trail has an elevation gain of about 1,500 feet, so please be sure to stay well-hydrated!
