Live PODS Training
It is our pleasure to announce that New Century Software will be launching a series of training courses aimed to help pipeline operators unravel the business and technical justifications for implementing and maintaining the PODS data model as part of their GIS strategy.
As a GIS service provider for some of the largest pipeline operators in the world, New Century Software has a very strong understanding of the PODS data model and the intricacies involved with implementing, loading, maintaining, viewing and analyzing data within a PODS-based GIS system.
In addition to hand’s on experience with PODS projects, the company has maintained a consistent presence in a variety of PODS committees including the Board of Directors, Technical Committee, PODS Spatial Committee, ILI Data Interchange Committee, NACE/PODS ECDA Committee, New Construction Committee, and One-Call Committee.
These training sessions are offered only to pipeline operators and are specifically designed to help operators understand the business and technical issues involved with selecting, implementing and using a PODS-based GIS in a production environment. A demonstration of a sample PODS system will be used both days to help participants visually understand the content being covered.
