Videos: Building and Running Risk Models in Spatial Risk Analyst

Spatial Risk Analyst was designed to run a wide variety of risk models on oil and gas pipelines. In this collection of videos, we demonstrate the different features within the software as individual risk models for gathering, transmission, and distribution operators are being run.

The concepts and models demonstrated include:

  • MAOP Calculation, with an emphasis on building a risk model from scratch (06:57)
  • Probabilistic Model for Transmission Pipelines, focused on data connectivity, pre/post-processing, and default risk values (02:32)
  • What-If Scenario for a Public Awareness Campaign, demonstrating the ability to output data to alignment sheet format (03:28)
  • Cased Pipe Integrity Assurance Model developed by NYSEARCH, emphasizing the use of tabular data instead of spatial data (04:08)
  • DIMP Region Model using the NGA/SGA DIMP Plan Template, showing how data is exported to ArcMap along with Crystal Reports output (06:37)
  • DIMP Segment Model through the NGA/SGA DIMP Plan Template, looking at lead density in ArcMap (04:35)
  • 3rd Party Damage Prevention Model, emphasizing the use of SME (Subject Matter Expert) data (06:07)

Because these videos contain proprietary information on our Spatial Risk Analyst application and certain pipeline industry data models, only pipeline operators are being granted access at this point.
