Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP)

New Century Software supports gas distribution companies in complying with PHMSA’s Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) requirements. Our primary focus is on implementing the NGA/SGA DIMP Template Plan in collaboration with our strategic partner Structural Integrity Associates.

NGA/SGA DIMP Template Plan
Forty-seven Southern Gas Association (SGA) and Northeast Gas Association (NGA) member companies have established a comprehensive Distribution Integrity Management Plan Framework and User Guide for meeting the DIM regulations. These funding members represent over 40% of the distribution customers in the United States. Many more companies have purchased the framework and user guide since the plan was released.

By collectively laying the foundation for a DIMP plan, the companies developed a defensible framework that meets the regulatory requirements, is easy to implement, and can accommodate the wide variability in data readiness of the typical gas distribution operator.

Implementing DIMP Solutions
New Century Software works with gas distribution operators to deploy the NGA/SGA DIMP Plan. Our solution includes:

	Risk Assessment Software Our Spatial Risk Analyst software can accurately evaluate risk using a regional or segment-based approach. Operators can develop their own risk algorithms, integrate 3rd party models, or purchase the application pre-loaded with the NGA/ SGA DIMP risk model.
	DIMP Workshops Schedule an onsite workshop to guide your organization through the process of establishing a roadmap to meet DIMP requirements, identifying and organizing data, developing risk models, tailoring an IM plan, and integrating that solution into the current IT and operational environment.
	Data Inventory & Analysis New Century Software works with operators to identify gaps in the current data, determine which data will be most useful in meeting DIMP, and review current processes and procedures for leak reporting, new installs, maintenance, pipe exposures, and other operations.
	Data Conversion Leverage our pipeline domain expertise to accurately convert data from paper records, maps, CAD drawings, and spreadsheets to a database format. Through proven processes, data is developed and aggregated to enhance its value to the organization.
