Crude oil, liquid natural gas (lng), and liquefied petroleum gas (lpg) are common materials transported using hazardous liquid pipelines. Our solutions range from supporting companies through the early stages of designing and implementing a GIS to performing advanced analysis in order to meet integrity management regulations.

Liquid Pipeline Software

GPS DataLoader and RouteLoad Express are geared for data loading and database populating. SpatialSynchronizer is the key to synchronizing the information stored in your PODS and GIS systems. Once pipeline information exists, Facility Manager is used to perform centerline maintenance activities and manage pipeline attribute data. Field technicians can submit pipeline data changes and maintenance updates online to a PODS staging database using Facility Manager WebEdit. Centerline Browser provides secure web access to pipeline data using ArcGIS Server. Spill Impact Analyst provides liquid line operators with the ability to analyze potential spills and perform HCA analysis, and Spatial Risk Analyst offers a risk-based approach to integrity management. SheetCutter, SheetCutter Server and TemplateDesigner are in our pipeline mapping software suite for automated map and alignment sheet production on oil pipelines and other hazardous liquid lines.

Liquid Pipeline Services

New Century provides Data Model Consulting to select an appropriate pipeline GIS model such as PODS or APDM. GIS Implementation involves gathering the organizational requirements and developing the architecture for an optimal pipeline GIS. New Century’s Data Conversion team is highly experienced in migrating data from traditional maps. Data Loading services assist companies with loading new or recently digitized pipeline data to an existing GIS.

We offer Template Design to save companies on the time and expense of creating custom alignment sheets, and Map & Alignment Sheet Generation services for rapid sheet production. Mapping Services such as centerline routing and adjustment are also available.

A wide variety of Pipeline Integrity Management services such as liquid line HCA analysis are available. Risk Assessment services can be requested to prioritize covered pipe and develop mitigative plans to meet DOT pipeline integrity management requirements specified in 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195.
